Dear Lilly,

I just wanted to thank you and two of your employees, Barbara and Tina. Due to inclement weather, we were forced to bring our outside Bridal Shower garden party inside. These women showed great finesse in this 'transition' and our guests did not suffer any inconvenience and commented on how wonderful the event was BECAUSE OF THEM. The fine food presented and the ambience they created under these conditions made the social. I hope Lilly's appreciates these exemplary employees. I can't thank you and them enough. Great, great job!

Dear Douglas, Barb, and all the chefs and experts at Lilly’s Gourmet and Catering.

Thank you so much for the wonderful, wonderful party! The hors d’ oeuvres, dinner buffet and desserts were phenomenal and everyone raved over the flavors, the presentation and the variety. Douglas, thank you for helping me put together the menu and coordinating the creation of a truly fantastic dinner party!

A very, very special thank you to you and Barb Hussein who traveled so far and worked so diligently, effortlessly, seamlessly from kitchen to table and back again allowing me to enjoy my guests without having to worry about anything. Barb you did it all! From set up to clean up! I can’t believe that you even had everything put away in the fridge for me! You are a true gem and a pleasure to have in my home!

My compliments and gratitude for a wonderful operation. You will be my first call for my next big party, and don’t be surprised if you receive more inquiries from Maplewood, NJ - my neighbors and just as impressed - and my Baltimore, MD guests a little jealous that maybe that’s traveling a little to far... : )

Thank you for the wonderful brunch you catered for our Christmas Bridal Shower! Our guests were delighted with the buffet - it was beautiful, plentiful and so delicious. Vickie is such a terrific hostess. She had the kitchen and dining running so smoothly and is both delightful and unflappable. We all loved having her with us. We stopped at Lilly’s on our way to the Shrine of Our Lady and had the best deli sandwich and ice tea that we have had in a long time. The outdoor seating was a plus, as it was a very nice day.

To Lilly’s great team:

I had to take a moment to thank those of you who were involved in making my retirement celebration at Lilly’s on the evening of June 2nd such a warm and memorable event for me. The fact that you accommodated all twenty of my colleagues and friends so graciously and skillfully, that the food was so bountiful and well-prepared, the service great (thanks to Beth and the other wait-staff), and that you showed patience with as we continued after you began serving other patrons, all of this made it wonderful for me and my friends. Special thanks to Steve and Vicky who worked with my good friend Mari Buono to plan the party. Their flexibility, willingness to accommodate, and assistance were remarkable (I am told).

Many of the people who attended had never eaten at Lilly's before. They raved about your food, service and ambiance - I am sure you made some loyal new patrons who will spread the word about Lilly's.

Anyway, thank you from the bottom of this Lambertville locals heart. You made a special day even more special for me.
